MAKE GRATITUDE A HABBIT

Hello beautiful people,

How are y’all doing? Welcome again to my blog. Never had the chance of wishing you guys a happy new month of May! But I will do it now lol. HAPPY NEW MONTH. I hope your month started illuminating and it will stay illuminating through out. Last week was really busy for me, but here I’m today blogging for you guys.

Today on the blog, we are talking about GRATITUDE. GRATITUDE simply put is the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. By now I guess we all have a better understanding on this topic, without further ado, lets jump into it ‘MAKING GRATITUDE A HABIT’.

We have so much to be grateful for in this life. Each and every day. But reality is that sometimes constant life demands, struggles, and worries give more room to defeat than to a heart of thanks. Or we forget, in the midst of busyness and pressures, just to pause and give thanks, for all that God has done, and continues to do in our lives. Sometimes it really is a sacrifice to offer praise and thanks. We may not feel like it. We’re struggling. We’re weary. Or maybe, we feel like He let us down. We think God seems distant, like he’s far away, or doesn’t really care about what’s troubling us. Painful life blows and losses might have recently sent us spiraling. But we should always know one thing that God loves us so much to want to watch us go through pain alone.

Being grateful can physical change your brain and boost happiness. Maybe this might be new for some people, but it’s ok. Just like when starting anything new, practicing gratitude is most effective when you start small. Instead of trying to change your entire mindset in a single day, focus on finding one thing that you can appreciate God for, between the time you wake up in the morning and the wind down for the bed at night. Once you start honing it on the little details you missed before, you’ll begin to notice more and more greatness around you.

But here’s what can make a lasting difference. We have a choice, every day, to give Him thanks. And with a heart of thanksgiving, we realize that no matter what we face, God doesn’t just work to change our situations and help us through our problems. He does more. He changes our hearts. His power, through hearts of gratitude and focused minds on Him, releases the grip our struggles have over us. We’re strengthened by His peace, refueled by His joy. It reminds us we’re not in control, but that we serve a Mighty God who is. It keeps us in a place of humility and dependency on Him, as we recognize how much we need Him.

A heart of gratitude leaves no room for complaining. For it is impossible to be truly thankful and filled with negativity and ungratefulness at the same time. So you should take note of the things you thinks about. When you are thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. But if you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.

Make gratitude a habit today. Stop comparing, right now appreciate what you have, most people don’t even have that. Making comparison is a huge no-no when it comes to gratitude. Write down things you’re thankful for whether big or small. Give more, not only will you brighten your mood to bring someone else joy, but you’ll probably feel ultra-grateful for your time, talents, abilities or whatever else you have to offer.

Keep it regular. It takes about 66 days to form a habit. Consistency is key when it comes to gratitude. So keep looking for the mini-moments, noting the best thing around you, focusing on yourself and giving as much of your good energy and talents to people around you as you can and thank God for it all.

Today I’m grateful for life, family, friends and for the fact that I know God loves me so much, I’m super grateful. So guys what are you grateful to God for?.

Now back to my outfits, this was really a fun shoot, y’all can see from my pictures, trying to get a good picture because I totally refuse to look at the camera, my photographer was constantly reminding me to face the camera lol. Black and white are actually my favorite colors and you can never go wrong with them. And I know I’m not the only one in this black and white community. I love how the photos came out, and I know you guys love it too.

Thanks so much for reading and see you in my next post. Don’t forget to subscribe to get a notification when something new is on the blog, like, comments and share. Shalom!
