Today I want us to discuss more about the Love of God towards us. I had a conversation with a friend and we couldn’t stop talking about His love towards us and he said something that got me thinking. He said not everyone really know about God’s love for them.
When we think of love in general, we often times tend to think of romantic love immediately. but have we ever think of God’s love first? God’s love is different from other kinds of love. It’s not all hearts and flowers or warm and fuzzy, it really goes beyond that. His love is so vast, deep, and wide. His love comforts us in times of loneliness and despair. It never fails and it always forgive.
You are not what others think you are, you are what God knows you are. I have known friendship love, parental love, romantic love, family love and unrequited love in my life time, but the only love that made a difference was God’s love. You don’t need confirmation from the world or another person that you matter. You simply do matter. When you finally believe that truth and live it then you can do amazing things with your life!
This attribute of God is one that makes me smile. What comfort we can find in a God that loves us despite of ourselves. God loves you and He wants you to know this! God believed in us and never give up on us. No matter what storm you face, you need to know that God loves you. He has not abandoned you and He will never abandon you. You can never escape God’s love.
God’s love encompasses us completely. He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed, rejected, awkward, sorrowful, or broken. The nature of God’s love is unchangeable.
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39.
There is no one who is insignificant in the purpose of God. We may not fully explain or comprehend what God’s love is, but it is something that we need to experience in our lives. We should constantly remind ourselves how much He cares and treasures us no matter how imperfect we are.
“I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime.” – Isaiah 46:3-4.
God’s love is eternal and it has always prevails, it is unconditional. No amount of earthly love can surpass His love for us. He sacrificed His only begotten son’s life for our salvation. So whenever you feel so unworthy of your life, think about what Jesus did for you on the cross. He loves you and will never forsake you.
I hope you guys are doing great and blossoming in God’s love. let this post inspire you through the journey of life. What are you thoughts on this? Let’s discuss. Kindly comment below, like, and share with your friends and families who needs this encouragement and reminder of God’s love.
