BECOMING

Hello lovelies,

It feels so good to be back again blogging. I have missed you guys and I’m very sure you guys missed me too. Quite a long break though; how are you guys doing? hope great. Today I will be sharing with you guys some of my thoughts while away, and one of them is ‘BECOMING’. Becoming God’s best version of me and also you. You can become any good thing the Lord wants you to be if you’ll listen to Him and follow the Spirit.

I am a great believer in setting goals. The act of writing them down and putting them where I can see them, can make the difference between success and failure. Most people are so scared of becoming someone new, scared to stand on their own, scared of what people will say or think of them, and scared of the society. Low self-esteem causes people to believe that they have so little worth that their response does not matter.

Never worry alone. When anxiety grabs your mind, it is self-perpetuating. Worrisome thoughts reproduce faster than rabbits, so one of the most powerful ways to stop the spiral of worry is simply to disclose your worry to God, The simple act of reassurance from God becomes a tool of the Spirit to cast out fear — because peace and fear are both contagious. We tend to be preoccupied by our problems when we have a heightened sense of vulnerability and a diminished sense of power. Today, see each problem as an invitation to prayer.

Too often, people who need the cheers the most get them the least. Every day, everyone you know faces life with eternity on the line, and life has a way of beating people down. Every life needs a cheering section. Every life needs a shoulder to lean on once in a while. Every life needs a prayer to lift them up to God. Every life needs a huger to wrap some arms around them sometimes. Every life needs to hear a voice saying, “Don’t give up”. You have been created by God as a unique person, his plan to grow you will not look the same as his plan to grow anyone else. What would grow an orchid would drown a cactus.

Let go of the person that you don’t want to be.  Stop chasing after the versions of yourself that will only interfere with you becoming the person God intends you to be.  Let go of pretense, guilt and pleasing people rather than pleasing God alone. No matter how hard you may try, you can’t become the person God wants you to be through your own efforts. The only way to do so is to live with God’s Spirit flowing through you like a river of living water that makes you and those you relate to flourish. Rather than trying harder to become a better person – which will be in vain, since you can’t achieve spiritual growth through your own efforts – try a softer approach to life. Relax and focus on God’s grace that’s always available to you.

Genuine brokenness pleases God more than pretend spirituality. What matters most to God isn’t what you do; it’s who you are. So pursuing certain accomplishments in life isn’t nearly as important as becoming the person God created you to be. Use your time and energy well. Focus on living up to your potentials, growing into the person you really want to be – someone who’s free to live with love and joy. Even you can’t tell yourself how to change, because you didn’t create you. To love someone is to desire and work toward their becoming the best version of themselves. The one person in all the universe who can do this perfectly for you is God. He has no other agenda. He has no unmet needs he is hoping you can work with him, And he knows what the best version of you looks like. He delighted in the idea of it, and He is already working on it. The apostle Paul said, “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.” Which means God is at work every moment to help you become the very best version of you.

If you improve the way you think, you’ll improve your whole life, since your thoughts lead to your attitudes and actions and shape who you are as a person. God never grows two people the same way. God is a hand-craftier, not a mass-producer. The most important task of your life is not what you do, but who you become. Learn to depend on God always no matter what you are going through. Self-improvement is no more God’s plan than self-salvation. God’s plan is not just for us to be saved by grace, it is for us to live by grace. God Is Closer Than You Think. Stay focus always.

This is me becoming what God wants me to be. Will love to hear from you too and also to share your thoughts on this topic with me by commenting below. thanks so much for reading. God bless you!
